A portrait for a story about local small-business fishermen in Southwest Florida.
This "environmental" portrait image was technically pretty simple: single source soft box balanced against the waning natural light. But the shoot was interesing. Note the pelican on the dock post behind this fellow. As soon as I got my lighting in place, he flew in and landed there. He stayed for the entire shoot and as soon as I got my picture, he flew off. It was like I'd hired him to complete the picture. |
