A portrait for a story about a volunteer that patrolled the Southwest Florida beaches to help protect endangered sea turtle nests. Another simple single light location shoot. The tool in her left hand is for measuring the carapace of turtles coming ashore to lay eggs. Around this same time, my wife and I were lucky enough to be strolling a Sanibel beach one evening when a caldroun of baby turtles emerged from the sand and made their way down to the water. What an experience! |
